India’s very own Flex Evangelist

Adobe Flex John Koch (who manages Developer Relations for Adobe in Asia), two days back introduced me to Prayank Swaroop over email … Prayank who has been working with Adobe’s ColdFusion engineering team in Bangalore and is a known figure in the ColdFusion world has now taken up the responsibility of evangelizing Flex in India

This is an excellent opportunity for all of us in the Indian Flex community, which we can leverage to get all sorts of support and help from Adobe with our Flex projects. I welcome you on board Prayank and look forward to interacting with you on many many exciting projects. I also extend a big big thank you to Adobe and John for responding to the needs of the community.

    More training institutes should be offering this alongside their Flash programs. Grassroots, baby!

    Hi Roj,

    I am positive that the guys at adobe are trying to facilitate this as best as they can, but we have to understand that the learning curve involved in teaching Flex to a Flash expert can be steep as Flex involves concepts from the programming world that a Flash expert never had to deal with.
